Affiliates Pro and Categories

I have a couple of questions…

We would like to use Affiliates Pro for a program we’re running with partners. Is there a way to allow leads brought in by certain affiliates to only apply to specific categories? Or do you suggest the purchase of Affiliate Products in order to do this?

Additionally, we have done a speed assessment test to help us with optimization. Right now, Affiliates Pro is dragging our load time substantially. My fear is loading another Itthinx plugin that will drag on the site. Do you have a resolution for this, or has this been addressed in updates? We are currently running the latest version.

    Hi there…

    A couple of things. We purchased Affiliate products and this does not do what we needed. The 1-to 1 aspect isn’t going to work and we’re not interested in sharing commissions with our partners. Can we get a refund for this?

    Additionally, can you explain how to do this custom fix to allow us to grant a specific commission for specific affiliates. We have several partners that will receive commissions on specific products ONLY. Is that possible with Affiliates Pro?

    Any info you can provide on the plugin conflict would be great.

      Hi Jean,

      Yes sure, not a problem if it’s not working for your case, this has just been processed.

      Hi,
      if you have selected “Redirect” in Affiliates->Options, please try deselecting this (with redirect selected, two request are ordered).

        Redirect was not selected. So that was not the issue. Is it possible for you to take a look? We’re actually moving the shopping cart to a separate install. Maybe the strain of the plugin will be less here.

        Additionally, can I change my contact email here? I am using this for my client and signed up under her email. It takes a while for me to forward emails to me sometimes. Is there a way to update my profile information?

    Hi,
    1.- By default you can not set different rates by categories (you could create a custom solution using the API). But you can set different rates by products. If you are using Woocommerce Integration, this feature is available.

    2.- The increase in load time is not normal. Maybe there is a conflict with another plugin, or another problem. Please give us an url to have a look.
