Affiliates Enterprise: Develop on subdomain before production on top domain

I just bought Affiliates Enterprise. So i want to develop on the subdomain ex: dev.mysite.com, if the development is completed then I will use mysite.com for production. Can I use the same servicekey within my subdomain and topdomain?

    You can insert the service key on your dev environment, however, please remember to move it to the live site when you are done with the development work. I would also be right here just in case you run into any issues.
