Affiliates are not able to add their paypal email to receive payment
—
by
Hi, I used the shortcode [affiliates_affiliate_profile show_name=”” show_email=”” show_attributes=”paypal_email” edit_attributes=”paypal_email”]. It only shows blank box next to PayPal email, and my affiliates are not able to add or edit their PayPal email there. I made sure it is double quoted and used this code in editor. Our affiliates would think we are tricking them without letting them enter their paypal email address because of this bug in the plugin. Would you please help to fix it? Thanks.

If you can sign up at this link https://www.sprout-flowers.com/affiliate-area/ and try to enter your PayPal email, it won’t allow you to do so.
Many thanks for that, I have created a test account which is pending approval. Can you please approve it and I will check the fields that appear there?
Kento, thanks for your help. I have approved it. Would you please try to enter your PayPal email address? Thanks again, Joanna
Hi Joanna,
Thanks I’ve just logged in and the HTML field has the readonly attribute set, that’s why you can’t input anything.
This can be due to an error with the double quotes used to specify the shortcode attributes. Can you please check if you are using straight double quotes:
"
in all cases and *not* slanted double quotes:″
… please check especially onedit_attributes
.If all of these are correct, please forward temporary admin access to support at itthinx dot com and include a link to our conversation here, we would need to check what else could be the cause of the readonly attribute appearing.
Cheers
Kento, awesome. It works. Thanks so much for your email.
Great to hear that! Thanks for using our software 🙂
Thanks for the response. https://www.sprout-flowers.com/affiliate-area/. This is the link. I have tried it on others too. PayPal email is not editable. I am not sure if all of them have the same CSS issues?
Hi Jesus,
Could it be that this is a CSS issue? Based on the shortcode you have provided, this should be correct.
Cheers
