Affiliate Registration Notifications (to Affiliates)
—
by
I am using Ninja Forms for my affiliate registrations, and using Affiliate Pro to send the notification email.
From the documentation, it looks like these are the only tokens/shortcodes that can be used in this email?
[site_title] [site_url] [site_login_url] [username] [password] [user_id] [blogname]
I am trying make it more of a “Welcome Email”, and include things like the Affiliate Name, Affiliate ID, Links, etc as part of this welcome email. But when the email is received it looks like this…
Hi [affiliate_name],
Welcome to …. your Affiliate ID is [affiliate_id] :
…and so on
Is there a way to include this information in this notification email?
Thanks
Andy

Hi Andrew,
Based on the plugin I sent you, with a slight modification you can also display the user’s name since you have the user id. In the function reference here you can also find examples.

Ahh ok, I forgot that CF7 can only used for referrals. Yes I am using AP for the notifications and do use the username token, I was hoping to be able to insert the affiliate’s first name somehow too.
I guess since I can switch to sending the notification from Ninja Forms, and use the form fields with the site name and url written out instead of using the AP tokens.
Thanks!
Hi Andrew,
CF7 doesn’t support affiliate registrations. On the other hand if you use Affiliates Pro notifications, you can utilize the default Affiliates Pro token, [username], which is needed for the affiliate to login.
Also, don’t forget that in Affiliates Pro notifications, HTML is allowed in the mail templates.
Cheers,
George
Hi George, thanks for the reply. Basically that’s what my original email had, but I was hoping to spruce it up some.
So then I have two follow up questions…
1) If I use CF7 for the sign up form and send a confirmation email through the form, can I use the [username] token or it will not render properly?
2) Or alternatively, can I use the CF7 tokens (like [your-name]) in the email sent from Affiliate Pro? (the same how the referral notifications are sent) ?
If not, I guess I’ll need to either send out a welcome email manually after they register, or create an area like “start here” in the Affiliate Area.
Thanks for your help!
Hi Andrew,
At the moment new affiliate data can be seen in the affiliate area page, so you can welcome your affiliates by their username and then link them to the affiliate area page for the rest of their tools.
Kind regards,
George
