affiliate not registered
—
by
Hi,
My partner started to promote the aff url id and registered a new referral, however, when he view it in manage affiliates, the names of the referred people are not found in there. But they were in the buddypress integration members area. We cannot activate them because they are not in the affiliate area. They cant see there aff id too.
How and why? Please advise
Thanks,
Lloyd

Thanks for the code. But I apologize, I am not a coder… Where can I put this code to work with my affiliate enterprise?
regards,
Lloyd
Hi Lloyd,
You need to add this code in your functions.php file in your child theme (always make backup before modifying any file).
Kind regards,
Antonio B.
I am also using woocommerce subscription. Is it possible that when a user paid subscription. He can automatically become an affiliate? As of now, I have a subscription payment.. then, if they are not subscribe, the admin will not activate their affiliate account. Is this possible to have it automatic?
thanks,
Lloyd
Hi Lloyd,
With this code, when a new order is created, the user is added as affiliate. Not only with subscriptions, but maybe you can use this as reference to create your own solution.
Kind Regards,
Antonio B.
Hi Lloyd,
Maybe the referred users are not using the affiliates-area registration form.
Remember that when an affiliate refers to an user, he can get commissions if you have the option enabled on Affiliates->User Registration, but the referred user is not automatically joined to the affiliate’s program. If you need automatically creates affiliate accounts for new users, you have available the Affiliates Users addon.
Kind Regards,
Antonio B.
