Affiliate links not giving credit

Hi guys

I have bought this plugin today and it works really well looks great

When someone uses a coupon attached to the test affiliate that also works! But for some reason when a purchase is made from the affiliate link it doesn’t.

I have added an affiliate
I have created a rate (see this screenshot https://imgur.com/a/OEj5w )

The affiliate link I am getting from my manage affiliate area which is similar to www.mywebsite.com/?affiliates=2

I have permalinks on as well in wordpress settings not sure if that would impact anything?

The commission rate is 10% for a particular woocommerce product category and the product in my test purchase belongs to that category.

So am I missing something? Do I need to set affiliate to direct? I want this to be a rate available to all affiliates

Please help

  1. Is auto referrals supposed to be off or on. I am having the same problem. I can’t get the totals to show in the referrals view. I am testing using incognito in Chrome trying to test it out. Please advise. In my case auto referrals is checked. Please help.

    1. Hi Terry,
I’m not sure, but I think that in “incognito” mode, cookies are not saved, and the plugin needs cookies in order to trace the affiliate.

      1. I tested it with my phone and another computer in a few different browsers. I am still unable to get the rates to track. Can you send me an email so I can reply with credentials so you can hop on my site and take a look quick?

        1. Hi Terry,
Sure, you can send me an email to antonio[at]itthinx[dot]com indicating the original question and your credentials.
I will close this topic, because the Guy’s problem is a problem with the hosting cache.
Send me the email and we continue talking by email.
          Kind Regards,
          Antonio B.

  3. Hi Guy,
If your test user is the same affiliate who are you using (id 2), please check if you have enabled the ‘Allow auto-referrals’ option from Affiliates->Settings:Referrals
If the problem persists, you can send me dashboard admin access to antonio[at]itthinx[dot]com indicating this topic, and I’ll have a look at your settings.
    Kind regards,
    Antonio B.
