Affiliate Links and Totals

Hi there,

I searched for a answer to these questions but could not find anything similar.

First- I am wondering is there a way to create affiliate links for people without having them sign in or creating a account? I don’t mind creating a account for them but I want to make it as easy as possible to hand out links without having them go through any hassles of signing in or creating a account.

Second- We bought Affiliate pro but after creating a account and a link, we did a test buy by clicking the link and buying a item from our store. I don’t see the purchase showing up in the totals section. I am not sure what I am missing or doing wrong.

Any suggestions or help is GREATLY appreciated,

thanks!

  1. Hi Corey,

    Thanks for using our plugin.

Before adding affiliates to your site, make sure that Registration notifications are activated under Affiliates > Notifications. Furthermore, and in order to avoid pending affiliates go to Affiliates > Settings, under Registration tab and make sure that Affiliate registration status is set to Active.

Regarding new affiliates and their links, you need to add them in your system. They can be either inserted in the back-end through Affiliates->Manage Affiliates, or through the front-end if you create a Dashboard page and start registering them one-by-one. If the affiliates will be created for existing users on your site, then you should also have a look at Affiliates Users premium addon, which allows you to import all your users as affiliates in one click, otherwise you can create an import file and import new affiliates with Affiliates Import free addon.

Regarding referrals for sales, you need to install and activate Affiliates WooCommerce integration. This integration is available for free for all licensed customers and can be installed through Affiliates > Settings, under Integrations tab.

In case further assistance is required for you to complete your setup, you are welcome to reply here.

    Kind regards,
    George
