Affiliate links

I can’t seem to be able to use just an affiliate link. I have to login for the affiliate links to work. I there any way to just have an affiliate use a link without having someone login.
Once logged in all the links work, but it would be easier if just the link worked without logging in first.

Hey Bob,
FYI, the shortcode [affiliates_id] will render the id of a logged-in affiliate. Its purpose is to help you create affiliate links easily and dynamically.
For example:
If this is placed in a page and an affiliate logs in, then the affiliate will see the id rendered, ie http://example.com/?member=11.
If on the other hand a non-affiliate user visits this page then will see
http://example.com/?member=.
This obviously has nothing to do with someone clicking on another affiliate link or not.
Kind regards,
George
Hi Bob,
Could please give some more details on affiliate links don’t work unless logged in?
FYI, the affiliate link is one of the ways your affiliates use to promote your website. A user following an affiliate link ends up in your site and the affiliate URL parameter sets a cookie which will grant a commission to the affiliate if the user completes an action, ie a purchase.
Even if the affiliate link goes to a restricted page the cookie will be stored in the browser.
Kind regards,
George
Hi George
When I enter an affiliate link into a browser, or click on it from any page, it will not replace the affiliate number on a page with the [affiliates_id] short code. The affiliate link example is http://mysite.com/?member=11.
if I log in using the login short code it will work and the redirect works as well.
