Affiliate Dashboard not working
—
by
The Affiliate is registered and was able to view the dashboard before.
Thanks
Posted the below earlier today, but it won’t allow me to post a response – so here is my response –
“We had set up our affiliates dashboard page, which was working fine, but we recently ran a system upgrade and it is no longer visible to the affiliate or site admin.
It now says:
“Registration
If you are not an affiliate, you can join the affiliate program here:
Registration is currently closed.”
I would love to be able to chat to some support person, but this plugin doesn’t seem to have a support person

Hi Tammy,
Welcome to our support forum and many thanks for using our affiliate marketing system on your site. FYI, support for all the plugins sold on itthinx.com is provided only via this support forum at the moment, that’s why you haven’t found a live chat option.
As for the issue you describe, based on the message that appears when you try to access the Dashboard, most probably you are trying to access it as a visitor or as a user who’s still not an affiliate. Please check your affiliates list, in Affiliates > Manage Affiliates to find out whether there is an affiliate record for this user and if not, then make sure to first allow registrations and then complete a new registration.
Reference on registrations:

Kind regards,
George”

One response to “Affiliate Dashboard not working”
Hi Tammy,
Since the affiliate already exists on your site and is active, then check your setup and clear your cache. This includes both the cache contents of any related plugin(s) you might be using and the browser cache.
If this is also not related to your issue, then it would be better if you enabled WP Debugging, then create a temp user account with Administrator privileges and forward the credentials by email to me, george at itthinx dot com.
As a reminder and in order to enable debugging, edit your wp-config.php file and replace this line:
define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, false );
with these lines:
define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true );
define( ‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true );
define( ‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false );
All logs will be stored in your site’s root folder under wp-content/debug.log file.
Kind regards,
George
