Affiliate Coupons on Checkout
—
by
I have created a test affiliate and assigned them a coupon attribute with a value.
However at checkout(woo commerce) there is no place to enter the coupon code for the said affiliate.
Also, I have purchased the Affiliate coupons plugin. How is that different from the coupons already there in the affiliate pro plugin

I have created a Coupon code for an affiliate in their account and when I try to apply that coupon code on the Apply Coupon field as you have mentioned, it shows Invalid Coupon Code.
Hey there,
I have a few questions in order to better understand the situation and localize the root of the error:
1) Are “standard” coupons, that are not assigned to an affiliate, working properly?
2) Could it be that there’s an issue with the expiry date or the maximum number of uses for the coupon?
Cheers,
Denitsa
1. Yes They Are working fine.
2. We are not setting anyy expiry date or number of coupons on the affiliate coupon code module as there is no provision forthe same.
Hello,
Thank you for answering those questions, it seems that it’d be better if I could check your backend myself in order to troubleshoot the issue further. Would you send temporary admin credentials to our email – help [at] itthinx [dot] com?
Cheers,

Hey I have replied to your queries and created an account for you. Details sent by email. Can you look into it asap
Hello,
Thank you for sending the credentials – I was able to login and test successfully 🙂
I assigned the test account you provided as an affiliate, then created a coupon (test10), and when attempting checkout and entering the coupon code, I get a Coupon code applied successfully. message. Here’ a screenshot that demonstrates that:

The problem seems to be that you’re assigning an nonexistent coupon to an affiliate – I did not see a coupon with a code of PSLSKILL under WooCommerce > Coupons. You need to create a coupon in WooCommerce first, and then assign it to an affiliate. Take a look at the documentation page on Coupons for a reference -> http://docs.itthinx.com/document/affiliates-pro/affiliate-program-management/coupons/

Hello,
By default, there should be a Coupon Code field in the WooCommerce shop cart, where the customer can input their coupon code – the affiliates coupons are no different than the standard ones and are applied via the same field:

On any purchase that a specific coupon code is applied to, the affiliate that the coupon belongs to will be granted a referral, just as if the customer had made a purchase through the affiliate’s link.
If there’s no such field in the Cart on your site, perhaps you could provide me with a link when I can see your shop and attempt to make an order to troubleshot the issue further 🙂
The Affiliates Coupons extension simply provides an interface to manage affiliate coupons in bulk and allows you to create affiliate coupons automatically when a new affiliate is created.
The documentation page of the extension explains its usage in greater detail, so here’s a link to it, in case you’d want to take a look -> http://docs.itthinx.com/document/affiliates-coupons/
