Affiliate Commission – Two Styles

Hi,

I’ve a question that may be complicated but i’m hoping is possible. I’ve got your plugin, WooCommerce subscriptions and the sites on WordPress.

What if there were different tiers of affiliates.

Tier 1: Standard small affiliates – they receive 50% of the product fee

Tier 2: Larger affiliates – they receive £5 per month for every referral they make and there will be recurring fees as it’s a monthly direct debit.

I know I can do both fee charging models (% of product fee or £ of recurring monthly payment) but can I do then both together at the same time.

If so, could you show me how this would be done please? I thought I may be able to do it in manage affiliates and new attribute but I don’t believe I can?

    You are welcome Stuart.

    Correct, at the moment the recurring referral will be recorded for all tier levels granting them a rate commission if the option for recurring referrals is enabled under Affiliates > WooCommerce integration.

    So, presently it isn’t possible to have a tier 1 – fixed one off payment, tier 2 – monthly recurring payment?

    Hi Stuart,

    Tiered Referrals is a feature of Affiliates Enterprise. You can find the complete list of features in the product page i mentioned above and also in the documentation.

    With the current version of Affiliates Enterprise you can apply rate commissions per tier level. However, in the upcoming version 3 of the plugin, there is a strong possibility to support also fix amount commissions per level.

    Regarding recurring referrals. Generally speaking, if you have a recurring referral for a fixed priced subscription, then the commission for that recurring referral would always be a fixed amount commissions. For example if the subscription costs 10 EUR and you choose to grant a 20% tiered referral at level 1, then each recurring commission will always be 2 EUR.
