Adding affiliates to mailing list

Is there a way to have affiliate sign ups added to a mailing list in MailChimp as an example or is there a way to send broadcast emails to affiliates from WordPress?

I apologize if you already addressed this question on another thread. My search turned up outdated responses.

    Hi Bola,

    You can use two plugins for MailChimp, MailChimp for WP and MailChimp Sync.
    When an affiliate registers, you can assign them to a specific role manually and sync only this role with MailChimp Sync to your list in your MailChimp.com account.
