Add an order to an affiliate for comission

Hi, a customer came into the store and paid cash. This was not recorded in the website. I have added the order with the amount, but I don’t see how to add the affiliate to the order. This customer had previously ordered through an affiliate banner, and that transaction was recorded. I do see a new referral button in the affiliates section but that doesn’t connect to any order number. It only lets you put in an amount.

How can I credit the affiliate to an order that I added manually?

    If affiliates come into the store and I enter their order on my computer, why doesn’t the referring person (who is listed as the customers permanent affiliate) get the referral?

    Why do I have to manually enter the referral, why isn’t it automatic like when the customer purchases from their own computer?

      Hi Jack,
      If a customer has a permanent affiliate assigned, when the customer makes a pruchase, then the affiliate get a commission. As you describe, it seems that the affiliate makes the purchase.
      I think that the user is using the affiliate link on his computer, and this is the reason why the referrals is created on his computer (it has the cookie), and it isn’t created in your computer.

    Yes, but why doesn’t that connect to the order that I entered?

      You can indicate the order in the description field.

    In Affiliates->Referrals you can add commissions manually.
