2nd tier referral not showing in admin.

Ok, almost there George! You have been awesome!!
I have the Affiliates Role plugin installed so that the affiliate registration assigns an affiliate role.
Ok, I have a commission rate of 15% and Level 1 commission rate of 10%
I registered “jacanamanager” who referred “hunt0777g” who referred “webmaster” who ordered a $12.97 product.
“jacana manager is showing $1.29 commission”, hunt0777g is showing $1.94 commission. Great. All is good.
All the order emails came through.
jacanamanager got an email, hunt0777g got an email saying, “A referral has been credited to you.” http://nimb.ws/YzmKw0
So all is well at this point…
However…
“webmaster” was only a customer.
“webmaster” only purchased a product through woocommerce, but has not signed up as an affiliate.
but “hunt0777g” who referred him to the site got an referral email, and “webmaster” never shows in the backoffice, until after webmaster actually signed up.
So this is great. No problem.
Just wondering why “hunt0777g” got a referal email, if webmaster had only bought a product, but didn’t actually signup??

Hi Craig,
There is a referral recorded, the referred product, that’s why hunt0777 gets a referral mail. This is normal since the affiliate actually referred a sale.
Have a look at Affiliates > Notifications, it’s the place where you setup all the notifications taking place regarding your affiliates.
