Your affiliate Enterprise plugin is causing my wordpress website to crash. I cannot activate the plugin. Please help.
Good day,
I am developing an affiliate site for a client and looking for a WordPress affiliate solution. Yours looks like it might fit the requirements, but want to be 100% sure before I purchase.
We have a stand-alone WordPress affiliate site: Aff. Site
and the site will promote our client: Client Site (stand-alone, WordPress site using Gravity Forms)
We need to track affiliate traffic referred to the Client site – and capture completed application forms.
Ideally we want the FormID assigned by Gravity Forms to pull through to the affiliate transaction. We had a similar setup years ago and placed some code on the Thank-You page – the page that users get redirected to once they completed the form.
– Will your software be able to meet these requirements. If so, does it have to be installed on both affiliate & client site – with tracking (pixel) code on client site?
Would we need the Enterprise version for up t 5 sites version?
Thank you for your time.
Hi Marlo,
Good day to you too.
Based on what you mention, this can be possible using a single license of Affiliates Enterprise and its tracking pixel feature. The Aff Site will have the instance of Affiliates Enterprise plugin running and will provide the tracking pixel to be placed on the Client site.
The pixel should be used again in the thank-you-page, so that it only generates a hit after a form submission. This way, the Aff Site will track hits recorded on the Client Site.As for the FormID of the submitted form, perhaps instead of that, you can organise your pixel into different campaigns. Each form will use a tracking pixel for a specific campaign, so this way you can avoid populating the formid but also modify the hit once tracked in order to add the form id to it. I would also recommend you to have a look at Campaigns feature of Affiliates Enterprise.
Just in case though, if having two sites for this project is not an absolute requirement, then you can simply use Affiliates Enterprise alongside with the Affiliates Gravity Forms integration and skip most of the setup.
What I can also recommend you is to obtain a license, do your setup as required, and if this doesn’t meet your requirements, just let us know!

GeorgeGood day George,
Thank you for the comprehensive feedback – and apologies for the delay. The project was paused, but we are now going full-steam ahead. We’ve purchased the Enterprise edition, and I have started with the integration process.
I need your help though – please.
Unfortunately using a single site is not an option. As such we need to integrate the Client Site (independent site) with the affiliate site (independent site).
I have read through the Pixel Tracking and Campaign features, but am still not sure on how to integrate. I know code needs to be placed in Thank You page (redirected after completing online application on client site) – however am not sure how the campaign feature will help. We NEED to pull though some / any identifier – as data of leads will be supplied to client who needs to validate qualification of the lead.
Any and all help / pointers would be much appreciated.
Kind regards,
MarloGood day to you too Marlo,
The tracking pixel is pretty straight forward but just in case, all you need to do is add the img tag to the page that should keep track of leads,
<img src="http://www.example.com/affiliates.png?affiliates=1" alt="" width="1" height="1" />.
With the above tracking pixel the affiliate with ID 1 will get a hit whenever someone views the page containing the pixel. As for the campaigns, once you create two or more campaigns for a specific affiliate, all you need to do is add the campaign ID to your tracking pixel. Let’s assume that you want to track two different forms. You should create two campaigns with descriptive names so that you can distinguish them and then add the campaign URL param and ID to the tracking pixel. Assuming that you have created campaign ID 1 for form 1 and campaign ID 2 for form 2.
Your tracking pixels will look like these:
For form 1: <img src="http://www.example.com/affiliates.png?affiliates=1&cmid=1" alt="" width="1" height="1" />
For form 2: <img src="http://www.example.com/affiliates.png?affiliates=1&cmid=1" alt="" width="1" height="1" />
This way you can keep track of more than one forms and view the performance under Affiliates > Campaigns.
Hope it helps.Cheers
Hi George,
Again – thank you for the feedback. As you might’ve gathered by now; I have limited technical knowledge 🙂
I might not have been clear at the on-set. We need to place a ‘universal’ tracking pixel on the client site. This needs to pull through, and assign to, the specific affiliate that referred the client. There can be anywhere between 01 to 100 affiliates – depending on how big our program grows.
Furthermore there needs to be an identifier (client form ID / email address or something) that we can use to reference when we communicate to client about a specific affiliate refer lead(s)
Thanking you in advance for your assistance … and patience.
Kind regards,
MarloHey Manuel,
You’re welcome! Then I should also apologise, since there are more than one affiliates involved, then what you’re trying to do is not possible with Affiliates plugin. Even when using a pixel, each affiliate would have their own personal auto-generated pixel code to the form which is obviously not what you’re looking for, based on the use case you have.
The identifier is easily done via campaigns, but it’s meaningless since you won’t be able to identify the referring affiliate.Kind regards,
GeorgeHi George,
Thank you again.
It is a real pity that your plugin in not the solution – as the interface, software, integration, and most importantly- support, were excellent.
Sadly I’d need to find another solution. Any you recommend – also, who do I contact regarding a refund.
A sincere thanks,
MarloHey Marlo,
You’re welcome and many thanks for your cooperation. Indeed it’s a pity but at least you had the chance to try our software 🙂
FYI, we have already processed your refund and you should see the it reflected on your CC statement within the following days.Kind regards,
George
Do you have support for Stripe for Dispatching Commissions?
Hi Ankkit,
You can use virtually any payment platform as the system provides Totals (links to relevant documentation section) that can be used to prepare batch payments.
Cheers
I do not want to registrations via affiliate link.
# I just want form filling to count as lead (will use contact form 7) for my service based website. (will pay $10 to affiliate)
# After that if the lead which was submitted get’s converted into a paying customer for my service, then additionally I want to grant a %based commission (which i can manually grant but i want it to be done automatically )## I want to automate the process of granting % based commission and maintain transparency with affiliate about it ; like how much was the service cost and the commission they received.
I am attaching a process flow for better clarity.
https://i.ibb.co/J5TNkY5/Untitled-Diagram-drawio.pngPlease let me know if it’s possible through premium versions of your plugin.
For the lead you can use the CF7 integration (even with our free version of the plugin). Once you get a lead’s form submission, you can accept or reject the referral (I would use “pending” as default referral status in this case).
I don’t know how you plan on handling actual orders from the customers. If you plan on handling orders via WooCommerce, you could use our Affiliates Permanent extension to automatically grant commissions to the affiliate who has referred the lead initially. Otherwise you’re probably looking at some kind of customization you’d have to come up with and implement based on our API and your requirements.
My recommendation would be to try how far you get with our free Affiliates plugin and see if you like the system and it is suitable in general. From what you have explained and from the diagram, I reckon you can run the whole thing with the free version for quite a while.
Hi, I have a presales question,
I am planning to implement the following on my website.
> I want to offer fix commission on lead form submission through affiliate links and if lead is converted then additionally a percentage based commission will be given. We also want to maintain a transparency between us and affiliate regarding the project cost and the commission we gave based on the project cost.example:
i have a roofing business and i have affiliate program enabled on my site.People will land through affiliate links and fill the enquiry for roofing solutions.
If we the lead is qualified then i will pay the affiliate 10$ and if that lead is converted for my roofing solution service for say $4500 then i will additionally pay 5% of $4500.is it possible through your plugin that I can also maintain the transparency of sales generated through the affiliate as well as commissions we gave based on amount ?
Hi Ankkit,
I think that you could approach this quite easily by giving a) a referral commission for new user registrations (which would reflect the $10) and b) based on the service amount referrals can be added manually on a per-case basis. You might want to give the free Affiliates plugin a try to check this conceptually first and can later decide if you actually would benefit from the premium versions Affiliates Pro or Affiliates Enterprise. I’d also recommend to review the documentation for the free Affiliates plugin at this point, which you will find here.
Cheers
