  1. Great, thanks for the help and fix with this. Did you see anything that caused this problem? and if so, is there anything i could do to prevent it happening again?

    1. Glad to be able to help 🙂 The cause of it was wrong HTML you had on that page. It wasn’t evident when viewing it with the visual editor, but the text mode revealed that there were lines which were incorrect.

  2. Thanks for the help – foo has been upgraded 🙂

    1. Thanks Mat, looking at the page in Text mode instead of Visual reveals code that shouldn’t be there. This is what was there. After removing all the HTML and just leaving the shortcode there, it looks good to go now.

  3. Hi,
thanks, i tried deactivating all plugins except everything groups but still no success.
ive created an admin account – you should have the email sent to you, let me know if you havent got it.
    thanks
    mat 🙂

    1. Thanks Mat, it didn’t arrive – I’ve created a new account with username foo, please raise it to admin and let me know when it’s done.

  4. hi,
thanks for the response, yes i’m using [groups_paypal_subscription id=”2992″] to generate the button.

ive changed the payment to add in more of the options, but still get the same error from paypal
    any help appreciated
    thanks

    1. Hi Mat,

Thanks for the info, the shortcode looks ok.

Do you have any other plugin installed that might be interfering? Taking a second look at how this is rendered on your page right now, the form with the Subscribe button references PayPal’s URL in the action attribute but this is not correct. At that stage, the original form doesn’t do that.

We can also have a look at the admin section if you want (create an account for support at itthinx dot com in that case please).

      Cheers

  5. Hi, the HTML on that page contains two forms, but none of them are valid, there are effectively missing fields – are you using the [groups_paypal_subscription] shortcode there or can you please post the code that is used on that page (use pastebin to post code) ?
