purchases are not being tracked…
—
by
Hi I purchased and installed Affiliates Pro on my Optimize press wordpress site. It’s tracking hits for the affiliates, but it’s not tracking purchases. None of my test purchases have been tracked to ANY of the affiliate id, not the one I used, not the store default. I’m using Paypal for the purchases. Please advise. Thanks,
Renee

We are having the same issue with integration of paypal. We have bought both but my developer is very confused. We are trying to install the paypal integration and affiliate program based on sales in our business directory

Hi,
Please refer to this comment, your security certificate is also not valid.
Hi I emailed support last thursday and I haven’t heard anything. Did you get my email?
We already had a look but it seemed ok, will take another look today.
here are the other 2 button approaches that did not work:

Hi,
please put the content you are using (you can use pastebin.com for this purpose). Or email us to support at itthinx dot com the admin login and we will take a look.
cheers
On the first page (button-test-api) the code you are using is wrong, because you can’t just add PHP code in the editor unless you are using a plugin that would allow you to do this.
The second page (button-test-input) is ok but your security certificate is not valid. The certificate you are using is only valid for billing.atmospherz.com and http://www.billing.atmospherz.com.
You can test that visiting the notification URL: https://sexypassionatefertility.com/wp-content/plugins/affiliates-paypal/lib/ipn.php
Solution: You need to install a valid security certificate for the domain.
Note that you can deactivate secure URLs for testing under Affiliates > PayPal > PayPal > URLs > Use secure URLs, for production sites this option should be enabled and a valid security certificate is required.
well – I see the website removed all of my form coding and other goodies like the values in the API coding – that makes the post significantly less useful!
Hi,
I have the affiliates pro paypal integration installed. http://www.sexypassionatefertility.com/button-test
I doubled checked all of the set up information and it appears correct.
I thought perhaps it might be a shortcode conflict with the button short code used in Optimize press.
So I got rid of the button short code and built my paypal button using my own graphic and put the paypal form inside of the [affiliates_paypal_form][/affiliates_paypal_form] and tested the button from another browser and made a purchase with my personal paypal account. No purchase information showed up in the affiliate reporting.
code:
[affiliates_paypal_form]
[/affiliates_paypal_form]
So I pitched the affiliates_paypal_form short code and tried plan b, using [affiliates_paypal_notify_url] and [affiliates_paypal_custom] within the form. I tested the button from another browser and made a purchase with my personal paypal account. No purchase information showed up in the affiliate reporting.
Then I tried using the API approach and I tested the button from another browser and made a purchase with my personal paypal account. No purchase information showed up in the affiliate reporting. Again code below.
<input type="hidden" name="notify_url" value="” />
<input type="hidden" name="custom" value="” />
Please advise I’m getting really close to launch.
Hi,
if you are using Paypal for the purchases, you need Affiliates Pro Paypal Integration to track this purchases.
But please indicate the website so we can have a look.
