Taxonomy applied to acf user field (back end)

Hi George,
Thanks as always for your helpful responses. My question now is can GROUPS help me out with an ACF issue: ACF only provides filtering by role for their “user” field. If I create a taxonomy for WP Users, Groups recognizes it, but doesn’t prevent it members of that group from showing up in the ACF users field when accessed by non-group members with role privileges. Does this make sense?
So for example, an editor of one group should not see members of another group when selecting from an ACF User field on the back end.

Thanks again,
Torben

  1. Hi there!

Just following up to see if this still requires our attention?

    Cheers!

  2. Hey Torben,

Thanks a lot for your kind words, much appreciated.
As for this question, I’m not sure I can understand what you’re trying to do. May I ask you to create a screen-record for this setup? Also, if this is possible to replicate it locally, make sure to include the instructions I need to follow.

    Kind regards,
    George
