Re: Affiliate Compensation

Does the Affiliates Enterprise affiliate compensation have the ability to pay commissions out in this way.

1. For Example: Three Different Affiliate Levels and costs of entry to become Member Affiliate
– Basic – $100 Product Purchase
– Silver – $500 Product Purchase
– Gold – $1000 Product Purchase

– Basic Member Affiliate – $100 cost for product and affiliate access at the basic level. Only eligible for commission up to $100 (the level they joined). Max commission will be $100 for all other product levels (Silver and Gold). Any proportional commissions will be paid out to members in the multi-level plan above member if they are qualified to receive the Silver and/or Gold level payments. If there are no other qualified Silver or Gold Affiliate Members between Admin, balance is paid to Admin.

– Silver – $500 cost for product and affiliate access at the Silver level. Eligible for full commission of $100 from sale of Basic product. Eligible for full commission of $500 from sale of Silver product. Eligible for proportional commission of Gold product level of $500. Max commission will be $500 for Silver and Gold product levels and $100 for basic level. Any proportional commissions will be paid out to members in the multi-level plan above member if they are qualified to receive the Gold level payments. If no qualified Gold Affiliate Members between Admin, balance is paid to Admin.

– Gold – $1000 cost for product and affiliate access at the Gold level. Eligible for full commission of $100 from sale of Basic product. Eligible for full commission of $500 from sale of Silver product. Eligible for full commission of $1000 from sale of Gold product level.

So here is an example:

Rob joins direct to Admin at the $500 Silver Level
Susan joins under Rob at the $100 Basic Level
John joins Susan at the $1,000 Gold Level.

In the above Scenario, Susan would receive a $100 commission.
Rob would receive a $400 – The balance of the Silver level position he is qualified for.
The remaining $500 would go to Admin because there is no one qualified at the Gold level up to the Admin.

Please review and let me know if your plugin can process this commission plan. I am interested in purchasing the Affiliate Enterprise plugin. Thank you for your help.

    Hi Al,

Welcome to our support forum and many thanks for providing the information for the affiliate plan you’re looking for.

After reviewing your request though I think that some points still need further clarification.
You’re planning to use three different levels of Affiliates, Basic, Silver and Gold. An affiliate candidate can join only after acquiring a specific product dedicated to each level only? Does an affiliate have the ability to change level afterwards?

Further below you mention that Silver level affiliates will get a proportional commission for referrals on Gold products. How do you plan to calculate that proportion? What is the base amount out of which you calculate a proportion?
Also, you mention that Admin would get a commission. Is that the site admin or is it another level of affiliates with a special classification?

As for the example provided, Susan should get a commission if she has already joined as affiliate and then refers a sale for the Basic product. Still though why should affiliate Rob get a 400$ instead of 100$ according to what you mention: Eligible for full commission of $100 from sale of Basic product.? What is the commission for affiliate John in this example? The only way that John wouldn’t deserve a commission would be again if affiliate Susan referred a sale.

In general, an affiliate is eligible to a commission once they have referred an action, in this case a sale referral.

Please have a look at my notes and provide further details if possible.

    Kind regards,
    George
