Data Collection and Notification of Affiliate Coupon

Good Day to you. In regards to the challenges we are having concerning the new affiliate plugin and the affiliate coupon plugin.

1: Data collection: by this I mean, we are not able to collate a well detailed information indicating which particular coupon that was used and who used it or which particular transaction it was used for.

2: Notification: an affiliate should be able to get a notification when his or coupon is used.

3: payment (reflection) : in the affiliate area, when the affiliate logs in to his/her own backend, the referral percentage or earning belonging to the affiliate isn’t reflecting on the dashboard when logged in.

4: Approval/ payout: in reference to the affiliate plugin (Affiliate wp) that we were using before purchasing affiliate pro, there is an approval system on it, when a coupon code is used for a transaction, it drops first at the backend as pending, awaiting approval, once approved it will reflect as earning or commission on the affiliates dashboard when he/she logs in. but this entire process is missing using our current affiliate plugin.

  1. Hi Peter,

    Thanks for using our plugin.

You can show details on any transaction with a custom free addon we are offering here. Feel free to download the zip file, upload/install and activate it in your site and use the following shortcode in your affiliate area page:
    [affiliates_affiliate_stats type="stats-referrals" show_pending="true"]
It will display a table of your referrals both accepted and pending, and also a column with the order details like order id, items involved, customer details, coupon(s) used that are affiliate attributes.

Apart from the commission per sale, you can also display the monthly earnings if you add the shortcode:
    [affiliates_earnings].

Instead of adjusting the referral status only for referred sales by affiliate coupons, you can choose whether you will accept all referrals by default or keep them pending in Affiliates > Settings under Referrals tab. Especially for referred sales on WooCommerce you can also adjust the referral status according to the order status, if you go to Affiliates > Woocommerce and modify the respective options. Furthermore, you can always change the referral status for any of your referrals if you go to Affiliates > Referrals and edit the desired referral.

Notifications can be sent both for accepted and pending referrals. Go to Affiliates > Notifications adjust the settings and modify the mail templates if necessary. Notification settings are pretty straight forward but the details can be found also in the documentation.

    Kind regards,
    George
