Reassigning an affiliate

Hi,

I have an affiliate who signed up under an affiliate link of another by error and I need to reassign him. If I reassign his referrer in the affiliate admin tab to another affiliate will his sale follow him too along with the commission distribution info?

Thanks

  1. Thanks Antonio.

One other thing. I’ve been all over the site looking for a way to translate my site to Spanish and nothing that I can understand. I actually switched my core language to Spanish hoping the Affiliate plugins would change. Not even that happened.

Please shed some light on the subject.

Really I only need the client side translated. I would do it manually if I knew what files to access.

    Thanks again

    1. Hi John,
Spanish language is included with the plugin, so if you change the language from Settings->General, the plugin should be in spanish.
If you need spanish in your affiliate-area page, you need to change the texts editing the page (the shortcodes should use the spanish language).
If the problem persists, you can send me dashboard admin access to antonio[at]itthinx[dot]com indicating this topic.
      Kind Regards,
      Antonio B.

      1. Hi Antonio,

        It worked like a charm.

I’ve set up my Paypal account and I can export the file to Paypal with no problem.

I need to charge each affiliate a small booking fee before I submit the file to Paypal. Is there a way to do this in your plugin?

If not, I guess that I’ll have to write a script that processes that function before I send it to Paypal. I’m really hoping that you say yes, that you have in your plugin. LOL.

        Thanks.

        1. Hi,
Sorry, there isn’t an option to do it.
You could edit the generated file, changing the amount and adding an extra column with a description about the total and the commission.
          Kind Regards,
          Antonio B.

  2. Hi John,
    Yes, that should be so.
    Kind Regards,
    Antonio B.
