User definable Rate(s) for a custom referral amount method?

I’m using your ACM plugin as a template, and trying to get a custom referral method rolled out to handle different commission rates for different coupon classifications.

The site owner specifically required the ability to change the rates himself from Admin dashboard, so we need to replace the hard-coded rate with something fetched more dynamically.

PLEASE HELP!!!

  3. Hi William,

There is a working version available on github.
You can modify it and/or make new requests.

    Cheers

  4. Hi William,

Possibly tonight it will be ready.
In the meantime you can clone this https://github.com/geotsiokos/affiliates-cm-coupon-rates and do your own modifications-ideas etc.
Please keep in mind that it is still work in progress.

    Kind regards,

PS: If I could have my way, I’d love to just see your ACM plugin upgraded to include a settings page.

    If the plugin were to:
    – add a link for the settings page to the existing nav row at the top of the Affilliates>Settings page
    – have a single input on that settings page
    – and use that single input as the rate in the ACM custom_method()

that would be an awesome example for me (or anyone) to build off of.

Of course, if that’s asking too much, please provide what help you can.

Could we get some help with this?
I’d love to just kinda re-use some of your guys’ existing code, but hard to do with obfuscated code.

Could you provide some clean copies/examples?
If not, at least even just pointing me to the right script(s)/code would be a real time saver.

It’s been several years since I’ve really written any real code, so it’s fair to say I’m a bit rusty 🙂

  11. Hi William,

The best way would be to create an admin page.
Once your ACM is installed and activated, another menu-item can be placed under Affiliates which is also more relevant.

    Kind regards,
    George
