Do I need this plugin for existing coupon codes?
—
by
Here’s the big picture.
We’re currently migrating our ecommerce over to WooCommerce from a different platform.
Part of what we are moving over is a list of existing non-expiring coupons.
These coupon codes need to be associated with affiliates.
So, once I get all these codes in, what next?
My initial impression is that this plugin is needed if one wants to make that affiliate-to-coupon association.
But now, after scanning through the docs, I get the impression that it’s more for coupon creation.
So, I guess I have 2 questions:
– Is this plugin required to associate affiliates with “existing” coupons?
– Once I get the coupons imported, where do I go to associate them with the appropriate affiliate?

Hi William,
If you want more than one coupons per affiliate, you can use a comma separated list of coupon codes.
Cheers
What about multiple coupon codes?
Am I correct to presume that the attr_value for the coupons attribute can be a comma separated string or something?
Hi William,
Affiliates Coupons is not required since your coupons already exist.
You can associate a coupon with an affiliate, by editing the affiliate’s attributes and adding a new coupon attribute with the respective coupon code.
Kind regards,
George
