Affiliate Paypal Payments Standard Will Not Update

I have purchased and installed the latest version of everything but wordpress keeps telling me I need to update from APPS from 1.2.1 to 1.2.2 and then it fails when I try. The plugin I have installed reports that it is 1.2.1

I have the Woocommerce integration plugin version 1.6.

  1. I solved the immediate problem by going through the above steps and then copying the plugins/affiliates-paypal directory from the one site it did work on into the plugins directory of the other two sites. So right now it’s working for me. If it doesn’t work with the next update I will contact you again with dashboard access.

    Thanks for the help.

    1. Thanks Robert,

Sure, please let us know if you have further issues on a future update and we’ll be happy to help.

      Cheers

  2. OK, I think this has something to do with Opera browser. If that’s the case I will confirm.

    1. Nope, doesn’t work with exploder either.

      1. Hi Robert,

  3. This is just driving me nuts. I cannot install the PayPal integration.

  4. Now I am trying to update my ERA site and have followed the steps above and it keeps giving me this error:

An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.

  5. OK, I had to go through the whole process twice.

  6. OK. I deactivated the Paypal Standard integration. I deleted the Paypal Standard Integration, I went back to Affiliates->Settings:Integration and it gave me the option to Activate the plugin. I did that. It is still version 1.2.1 and still won’t do the upgrade.

    1. Hi Robert,
This is the process, but when you delete the integration, then when you go to Affiliates->Settings:Integration, the button is ‘Install’, not ‘Active’, please be sure you have deleted the old integration before.
If the problem persists, you can send me dashboard admin access to antonio at itthinx dot com and I’ll have a look at your settings.
      Kind Regards,
      Antonio B.

  7. This is really bloody frustrating. So I deactivated the Paypal Standard integration and deleted the plugin. Now I’ve spent almost 10 minutes searching for the latest version to update it and can’t find it.

    ARGH

  8. Hi Robert,
please deactivate and uninstall the integration. Then from Affiliates->Settings:Integrations reinstall it.
    Kind Regards,
    Antonio B.

    1. You mean you want me to uninstall the Affiliates Pro plugin or the Paypal Integration and reinstall that ?
