A way to re-direct to other page if not a valid affiliate ID?

I’ve got a situation where I only want valid affiliate IDs to go to our sales page. If someone changes the ID at the end of the link I want to re-direct it to some other page like “Sorry….you have to be referred by a valid affiliate”

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks….

  1. Thanks George!

  2. Hi Joel,

There is a shortcode which could help in your case.
You can use Affiliates Is Referred with which you can filter the content shown for particular affiliates.

Also, there is the option Redirect built-in with the plugin under Affiliates>Settings which allows to

Redirect to destination without Affiliate URL parameter, after a hit on an affiliate link has been detected.

So, a user will not be able to alter the affiliate id in the URL since it won’t be visible.

Finally, you can also use Affiliates by Username so you can have affiliates links without id but with affiliates usernames instead.

    Kind regards,
    George
