Manually Approve Affiliate Applications

I need to manually approve new Affiliate applicants – currently its automated and any new applicant is automatically added into the program, how can I change that?

Can this be done?

Also, how can I set up Affiliate commissions in percentages instead of a flat fee?

    Hi Damon,

    Although the pending approval is not an availiable feature for affiliates, it sounds like an interesting idea.
    In the meantime, you can either enter the affiliates manually, or even better restrict access to the Affiliates Area page(or your equivalent affiliates profile page) for new affiliates.

    You can use Groups plugin, create a group let’s say “Accepted Affiliates” and restrict access to Affiliates Area only to this group.
    When you want to approve a new affiliate you can add him/her to “Accepted Affiliates” group.
