Counter -> Affiliate generate new Affiliates ?

We’re on the way to implement a custom method for an advanced program and it includes variable rates, based on referrals-amount. After some discussions we’re canceled our plan to use tiers for our affiliates.
In place of tiers we wanna add virtuell referrals to our affiliates, so they can get faster to the next level to increase their income, if they bring us a new affiliate in addition to their wocommerce referrals.

For this we need a simple manually counter based on an integer, that can be added to an affiliate and can be used as a multiplier in our custom method.

We don’t use automatic registration. In our case anyone that is interested submits us a form with gravity forms and we check if we want to work together with this person or not.

No my question: How (or where) can I add an extra attribute-field to an affiliate (manage affiliates -> edit) that just be used to insert an integer that we update manually every time, and how (or where) can we pass this to $parameters to use it on our custom method to use it for calculation ?
