Affiliate Unique Campaign Tracking

Hello,

We have many affiliates that would like to track campaign performance for their affiliate links. For example if they share the link on Facebook and then pay for a boosted post, they would like to see the hits and conversion for that separately from their main information and data to see if the Facebook post was worth the extra effort.

So for example, maybe they use:

http://example.com?affiliate=109

as their regular affiliate link and then want to use something like

http://example.com?affiliate=109&source=facebook-boost
http://example.com?affiliate=109&source=facebook-ad
http://example.com?affiliate=109&source=google-ad-words
http://example.com?affiliate=109&source=newsletter

to try and track hits and conversions from different sources. Is there any way for them to be able to see the independent campaign data on its own including hits and conversion numbers to help them determine if they should continue inviting time and money in that venue?

I know this can be done with new affiliate accounts for each different campaign, but ideally I would prefer to avoid that. Thanks so much for your help.

Griffin

  1. Hi Griffin,

Thank you very much for the detailed description of this requirement. I agree that it is a very useful feature and in fact this has been missing in the system for quite a while now but we have campaign tracking scheduled to be available soon, it’s a possibility that it will be available with the next release of the Enterprise version. Its availability mainly depends on whether testing will conclude within our time-frame (approximately until the end of this month).

I hope that will be helpful and if you have any additional suggestions regarding this feature they will be very welcome.

    Cheers
