We had a recent request to put out an update for a free tool for WordPress that has a small user base. The tool is really useful but is not well-known. What it does is to substitute keywords in your pages with links – it does this automatically, based on a set of keywords and links that you determine via its administrative interface.

The tool is Affiliate – don’t confuse it with our popular free Affiliates plugin for WordPress!

It allows you to Automatically Link Keywords – So, if you want to be able to have your affiliate links placed automatically on your site by keyword, then you should check it out. It’s super easy to use, as it incorporates the keyword management just like you would use normal WordPress posts or pages. For the technically inclined, it uses its own Custom Post Type to do that.

The plugin provides useful options for each keyword that it manages.

If you would like to give this tool a try, you can simply install it for free via the Plugins section of your WordPress dashboard. You can also head over to the Documentation and follow the instructions and examples.

With the latest update, you can be sure that the tool is compatible with WordPress 6.2 and we also tested it with the latest WordPress 6.3 beta, to make sure that everything works fine when WordPress 6.3 comes out (currently scheduled for release on August 8th).
