Hi. The WooCommerce integration plugin says “plugin not found” when trying to install it. Please advise!
Hi,
This is likely because your license has expired (checked your last order was Aug 29, 2022 which gave access to updates for a year).
Please update your license by purchasing https://www.itthinx.com/shop/affiliates-pro/ – we have our Black Friday sale going on right now so you’ll get a discount at checkout.
Cheers
Thanks for the info. I’ll note that it doesn’t indicate on the purchase page or on the invoice that the purchase is just for a year; might want to include that kind of information!
Hi Ryan,
Many thanks for renewing your access, much appreciated! Just to make sure this is noticed, we provide all details for purchases in our Terms and Conditions which also includes the details on access to downloads, support and updates.
Cheers
Hello,
I have purchased the license a few days ago and when i install WooCommerce integration plugin says “plugin not found”. Please help! thanks!
When people register to be an affiliate on my site, through your affiliate registration page in your generated affiliate area, they get told they will get an email.
Then they get an email with there username, password, and a link to login to WordPress…. not a link to validate there email address and login to my affiliate dashboard…How do we fix this???
Hi John,
There is nothing to fix as this is the standard way of communicating with new account. However, you can use the filters provided for the purpose of modifying the notification details to customize it. See https://docs.itthinx.com/document/affiliates-pro/api/filters/ and particularly these filters:
- affiliates_new_affiliate_user_registration_params
- affiliates_new_affiliate_user_registration_subject
- affiliates_new_affiliate_user_registration_message
- affiliates_new_affiliate_user_registration_headers
You’ve posted this on the integration plugin page for WooCommerce, however your question is not related to the integration. Also note that these support request should be directed at the premium support area if you are working with Affiliates Pro or Affiliates Enterprise:

I am having trouble getting the visits (and subsequently, referrals) to track correctly.
I have the latest version of WooCommerce with Affiliates Pro (4.12.0) and the Affiliates WooCommerce Integration (3.7.0) plugins installed.
Issue: When I land on a WooCommerce category page (e.g. site.com/books?refid=1), Affiliates Pro tracks the traffic to the correct affiliate. However, if I navigate from that page to another WooCommerce category page or to a product page, it stops tracking and any purchase made is not credited to the affiliate.
Issue: Also, if I land directly on a product page (e.g. site.com/books/book-title?refid=1), the traffic — and any purchase referral — is not captured by Affiliates Pro at all.
Suggestions?Hi Daniel, I’ve opened an issue for you so our support team can help you further.
Pre-sales question: How long does the tracking last for? For example if an advertising partner sends a referral to our WooCommerce site and that referral doesn’t make a purchase on their initial visit, but say 2 weeks later, will that sale still count towards the advertising partner’s commissions?
Hi Lisa,
Thanks for your question. Whether a referred visitor still is considered valid after some time is determined by the “Referral timeout” setting provided in the system. You can see this documented here in the Settings > Referrals section of the documentation for Affiliates Pro.
For your example, if that setting is left at its default of 20 days, the referral would be valid 2 weeks after the referred customer had visited the affiliate’s link. If you would want to limit that time to a maximum of two weeks, you would set this to 14 (days). The setting can also be adjusted to higher values or to 0 so that referrals would only be valid during the same browser session.
Another way of granting referrals would be with coupons that are assigned to affiliates. Their validity would determine whether referrals are granted and would be independent from the “Referral timeout” used for affiliate links. If you’re also interested in using those, the Coupons section of the documentation holds details on that and the Affiliates Coupons extension helps to automate the creation of coupons for affiliates.
Cheers
Version 3.7.0 of the integration has just been released!
Hi- Some presales questions….
if i had 500 customers on my site and i wanted to enable an affiliate relationship with them…
I.e. Send them a unique affiliate coupon that if they referred friends – friend gets say 10% off or free shipping, and they get 20% purchase price – is this possible (in bulk).note i dont want to set up these 500 affiliate accounts and also notify the customers.. I want to bulk create these affiliates (not assigned to a specific user but linked to a coupon) – send coupon to my customer base, then for anyone who referrs people, then link the affiliate account to that person.
Also is it possible that the referral payout is store credit vs $?
Hi Steve,
For existing accounts you could use Affiliates Users to have affiliate accounts created for them.
With Affiliates Coupons you could create coupons in bulk for the affiliates.
You would need to notify them of the availability of the coupons on their affiliate dashboard and add the available coupons to their dashboard, on this page is an example shortcode that you can add.
For payouts with store credits, you could use the extension. You could use the totals generated by the Affiliates system to issue store credits periodically. On the documentation page you can find a reference to importing store credit coupons via CSV – please note that the process would not be automatic.
Cheers
I downloaded the Affiliates Pro plugin and connected it to WooCommerce. I also followed the instructional video on how to create an affiliate dashboard and get links for affiliates.
I didn’t have any issues getting everything set up. However, when I signed up to test it, I was able to see the registration and the link only once. Once I got out of that page and tried to “log in” to the dashboard again, I couldn’t get to it. Also, the affiliate links don’t seem to actually work and point to the products that were added in WooCommerce. (I have added screenshots to this email as well).
Is there a more detailed tutorial, or someone who can help with the setup on the backend?
Hi Chonce,
Many thanks for using our system! It sounds like you had your registration pending for approval on the back end, but it’s just a guess. You could also have issues with caching taking place when it shouldn’t.
Our support team will be happy to help you further, please create a topic here and our team will follow up and help you further.

Pre-sales question:
1. My clients wants affiliates to link to specific (Woocommerce) products and for them to only earn commission on that linked product, not on any extra products within that same order.
2. Client also wants that affiliate can generate a link per product themselves. So there should be something in the Dashboard that allows affiliate to select a product and then generate an affiliate link for it.Is this possible with your plugin?
Hi Bente,
Thanks for your questions, sorry for the late reply:
1. You can’t limit it to specific products in that sense but you can set appropriate commission rates (including zero rates) so you could fine-tune things so commissions are calculated accordingly. Details on the rates can be found here http://docs.itthinx.com/document/affiliates-enterprise/rates/
2. Yes that is integrated within the Affiliates Dashboard so they can generate links to particular products. More on that is on http://docs.itthinx.com/document/affiliates-enterprise/blocks/ and http://docs.itthinx.com/document/affiliates-enterprise/shortcodes/dashboard/affiliates_dashboard/Cheers
Thank you I got it.
HI, I bought the affliate Pro, when i click under the integration> Woocommerce, I get “The Affiliates WooCommerce Integration plugin is not installed.” when I click on Install. It says “plugin not found” and I can’t download it either from the website….Is there somewhere else to get the Itthinkx, Affiliate Woocommerce Integration plugin for the pro version?
Hi Gardy,
This usually happens when another plugin is conflicting with the installation process. I have emailed you to proceed with manual installation.
Cheers

Thanks Erwin, we have followed up on your request.

I run a WooCommerce store and want to allow affiliates to have space within it, any sales their products make will go directly to them and I earn the commission (meaning the Paypal/Stripe payment goes directly to them).
Can affiliates do that and their products just appear within my store?
Hi Iggy,
No this wouldn’t be possible, it works pretty much the other way round.
Cheers
You need a vendors plugin, not an affiliates plugin
Kind of but vendors don’t allow the sales fee to go direct to the company the product belongs to. The problem is because I’m VAT registered but they aren’t. If I sell their products through the site as normal the VAT kills things. If I sell through Woo as an external sale it can go to them and I take a commission.
I have an interesting way I am hoping to create an affiliate – I have a website where I want people to send a customer to sign up to make a job post – When candidates apply to the job post they have to pay a fee per post via woo commerce. Is there a way to pay referrals for all transactions based on that job post? I am using wp job manager
Hi Will,
I haven’t tried it together with the job manager plugin, but any WooCommerce-based order would work out fine. I see that there is an extension here which seems to do just that. I’d give it a try with the free version first just to make sure it works with that setup.
Cheers
Can your plugin enable us assign a referral code to a user and the user uses this code to refer people and the user earns a commission of whatever the referred user buys on our site
Hi Chuka,
Yes that is possible with both Affiliates Pro and Affiliates Enterprise – here’s a link to the related documentation pages: Coupons with Affiliates Pro and Coupons with Affiliates Enterprise. Furthermore, you might also be interested in automatic coupons provided by our Affiliates Coupons extension.

When a order is complited 3 referals is created instead of 1, and in te affiliate area apear 3 referals for this affiliate, i’m using de woocommerce integrations, it seems like one referal is created for every woocommerce status instead of only create the referal when the order is completed
This would be correct if you have for example the User Registration integration activated and WooCommerce integration activated with Affiliates Enterprise and multiple tiers. Please get in touch with our premium support via https://www.itthinx.com/forums/ where we can help you further.
Hello! I have set up Affiliates Pro with Woocommerce subscriptions. I have a case where a client purchased a subscription but did not go through the affiliate link. We would like to set this subscriptions up with the affiliate post purchase. Is there a way to do that? If it was just a single order I wouldn’t worry about it but it is a monthly subscription that I don’t want to calculate myself every month.
Thanks!
SusannahHi Susannah,
Make a full backup of your site’s files and especially its database before you do this – ideally try it on a staging site first:
You will need to create a referral for the original order manually and then adjust a couple of fields for that entry in the database table (the table is
wp_aff_referrals
if you’re using the standard database prefix). Identify the new referral by its id, locate the entry in the table by thereferral_id
and set thepost_id
to the ID of the original order (this is numeric so don’t put any additional symbols in there except the order number), set thetype
to'sale'
and make sure thatstatus
is'accepted'
. When renewal orders come in, they should be related accordingly and generate additional referrals accordingly.Cheers
Perfect Thanks!
Hi,
Is there any way to set a lifetime commission instead of just one time? Thanks.
Hi,
You can grant commissions on every purchase from a customer who was referred by an affiliate using Affiliates Permanent.

We are having this same unexpected error issue. Affiliates Enterprise installed just fine. I even updated the woocommerce templates, in case that was the problem. Without the woocommerce and paypal integrations, it’s the same as building a house with no nails.. Our site/business won’t work.
Hi Larry,
We’ll be happy to help you but I’m not sure which issue you refer to – please use the premium support section: https://www.itthinx.com/forum/affiliates-enterprise/ and post your support request with details there. Thanks!
Cheers
I posted a comment in the premium section. Basically, I need the WooCommerce and Paypal integrations for Affiliates Enterprise emailed to me. They absolutely refuse to install via the WP area. I must need to install them manually.
Many thanks Larry, we will do that right away and check why this is happening. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Hey, Just like enCare above, I am having the sam error upon installing the Woocommerce integration.
“An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”
Please advise.
i Tyles,
Please check if you have installed the Itthinx Updates plugin and set your service key.
If the problem persists, please send me dashboard admin access to antonio[at]itthinx[dot]com indicating your order id and the email used in this order.
Kind Regards,
Antonio B.
With this setup, can we ideally have an affiliate fill out a form and get a unique coupon code which then they can give to their clients to use? Every time their client purchases an item, it can be tracked with how much they receive base on that purchase.
Every affiliate should receive a unique coupon code and with this setup, can they receive emails with how much they’ve made through the affiliate program?
Hi Chris,
When an affiliate is registred, he has a custom url to share. Also you can create banners, so the affiliates will have these banners available. With this integration you can assign coupons to the affiliates, so they don’t need to share the url, they can promote the store using the coupons assigned. This assignation is manually, you need to create them one by one. If you want to create and assign coupons automatically, you have available the Affiliates Coupons addon.
From Affiliates->Notifications you can configure the affiliates and admin notifications received when a new referral (commission) is generated. Also from the affiliates-area page every affiliate can see his data. If you want, you can customize this page using the shortcodes available.
Kind Regards,
Antonio B.
We’ve been trying to install and activate the WooCommerce integration via the button Integration tab of the Settings section in Affiliates Pro but continue to get the following error:
“An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”
Please be sure that we have installed the Itthinx Updates plugin and the service key set. Also we have configured target “plugin” folder and its subdirectories permission to be FULL (0777) in our server. But we are still unable to install Woocom Affiliates WooCommerce Integration plugin.
Please advise what to do next.
Hi enCare,
Answered by email.
Kind Regards,
Antonio B.Having the same issue – please advise!
Hi,
I emailed you a couple of days ago regarding a topic, if you still have issues please let me know in reply to that one and we’ll look into it for you. If you can please double-check meanwhile that the service key is set correctly (and has no missing characters) as this seems to be an issue sometimes.
Cheers
I’m having the same issue. Can you please let me know how to install the woocommerce plug in for the pro I just purchased.
Hi, sure, I’ve just sent you an email. Cheers!
